The Landing at Otter Cove, LLC. is a small remote fishing and hunting lodge surrounded by old growth forest and pristine waters.  It is a floating lodge located a short skiff ride away from Thorne Bay, Alaska on Prince of Wales Island. 

The surrounding waters are abundant with Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish while the local streams and lakes on Prince of Wales Island are loaded with Dolly Varden, Cutthroat and Steelhead.  What an anglers paradise!  Fly fishing enthusiests from around the world come here to enjoy the opportunity to fish the streams without ever seeing another person. We offer four fully equiped cabins with hot showers, linens, full kitchens, your own skiff and fishing right outside your front door.  Affordable guided and self-guided trips for saltwater and freshwater fishing are available.  Our guided fishing trips are aboard our 30' Armstrong Catamaran, the Storyteller.

It has been said that 5,000 people make their homes on Prince of Wales Island while 120,000 Black Bears do the same, making this the most dense Black Bear population in the world.  We offer self-guided Black Bear and deer hunting trips for the avid hunters wanting to experience Alaska at their own pace and for a more affordable hunting trip.  Both Black Bear and Sitka Blacktail Deer hold records with Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young from Prince of Wales Island.  If you prefer not to venture out on your own, the Storyteller can transport you and your game to/from the field.
